RULES & REGULATIONS:

PIAA Modified Rules, Double Elimination, Head Gear Optional, 1 Lb. Weight Allowance, Age as of 12/31/09 - Max. Age 15 (Absolutely NO VARSITY Experience), Age Challenges Permitted, Bring a Copy of Your Birth Certificate (DO NOT MAIL!) NO DOUBLE ENTRIES! Tournament Committee Reserves the Right to Combine Weight Classes, Referee’s and/or Tournament Director’s Decisions are Final... NO WEIGHT CLASS CHANGES AND NO SEEDING!

SKIN CHECK:

Skin checks may be performed. If any wrestler is found to have a suspicious rash or skin condition they will not be permitted to wrestle. (Refunds at our discretion)

BOUT LENGTHS:

Jr. High 1:30-1:30-1:30

All Other Divisions 1-1-1

Overtime (All Divisions): One 1-Minute Sudden Death Period, Double Overtime will be a 30-Second Ride Out

OTHER NOTES:

Wrestling to begin approx. one hour after close of weigh-ins. This is a NON-SEEDED tournament. (Pairings will be by random drawing only.) Jr. High will wrestle in the Auxilary Gym, all others in the Main Gym. This is an Ohio Tournament of Champions qualifying event.The cafeteria will be open all day. Absolutely no food or drinks in gym. The Punxsutawney Area School District is Tobacco Free, Buildings and Grounds Both.
